CHRISTMAS FUN

  Beware... Picture overload!!!
On Christmas eve I baked and baked and baked some more.  I made 2 pumpkin rolls, (plus one that failed), a cheese ball, sugar cookies, and spinach and artichoke dip.  We decided to let the kids help with the sugar cookies and they loved it!!  Kelson helped cut them out and then Caleb and Rylee helped eat and frost them.

We headed over to Trevor's parents house at about 5:00 on Christmas eve.  We ate yummy food and then we watched the movie "Christmas Oranges" It was a good movie.  Kelson was so into it, just kept his eyes glued to the screen and then when Trevor asked if he liked the movie he said "No" haha it was pretty funny.  After the movie ended we headed home to put the kids to bed.  The next morning we got up and I made Christmas morning Cinnamon Rolls.  While they were raising we opened presents.  Caleb and Kelson both LOVED opening all the gifts.  They got so spoiled we had such a great Christmas.

  Trevor got me a new wallet which was a suprise, but I have needed/wanted a new one for over a year.  The funny part is that he bought it at Loves-Truck-Stop haha, but it is really cute and I love it!  After opening our gifts we ate the yummy cinnamon rolls as soon as they came out of the oven.  Then we headed over to Andrea's house.  They were still opening a few gifts.  We stayed there for about 40 minutes before we headed back to Trevor's parents house.  We basically had a whole other Christmas there.  They all spoiled us, it was so fun! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that Santa brought you everything you hoped for!!

Live Nativity and Santa

The Saturday before Christmas we went down to St. George and had dinner with my mom and Brad.  After we ate dinner we headed over to Tuachan for the Live Nativity and to let the kids see Santa.  Well, we got our tickets for 8:00 and then we waited in line to see Santa.  Rylee was so cute. She snuggled up with Santa, she loved him.  Caleb sat on his lap and was so so so excited to get a little candy cane.  As for Kelson... He wouldn't even stand close to Santa.  He was pretty scared- it was funny.

 After seeing Santa we went and got our seats for the Nativity.  Kelson's favorite part of the entire evening was the camel!  He kept asking, "where's the camel?" When it finally came he was pretty excited.

After the Nativity was over instead of going back to mom's for Hot Chocolate we went back for banana-splits instead.  After our ice cream we gave mom and Brad the gifts from us.  It was such a fun evening.

Salt Lake Barlow Christmas

This year we celebrated our Barlow Christmas in Salt Lake.  We went up on Friday the 14th night.  We just did some baking and had a pretty chill Saturday.  We met up at Bradley and Julie's house for dinner at 4ish and we had some yummy salads and baked potatoes.  After we ate dinner we decided to go down town to see the lights.  It was the craziest traffic.  There was so much stuff going on so even getting to a place to park was a nightmare.  We finally found a place to park about 6 blocks from Temple square, but we made it over and saw all the lights.
After freezing and walking around we headed back to Rebekah's house for snacks, hot chocolate and opening our gifts from each other.  It was a fun "Christmas" evening.

The next day my cousin Cameron spoke in church before leaving on his mission so we went up to Centerville for that and dinner.  It was fun to see some of our extended family while we were up there.  It was a fun trip!!

Getting the Tree

Last Saturday December 8, we went out to Hamlin Valley to get a Christmas tree.  We went out with Clint, Jamie, and Kinsey.  We had a lot of fun.  The weather was not too bad either.

  We found 3 really great trees.  Clint and Jamie got one, we got one and we took the last one to Baylee.
