Halloween and such...

I saw this costume at walmart for like $7, so I bought it. We just went to Andrea's and grandma and grandpa Gardner's houses... it was fun though. Kelson made such a cute little giraffe.

Kelson loves to sit up, so we got him a bumbo... and he loves it!!! He also enjoys watching baby einstein. He gets so excited when little babies are on the screen it's so funny. He loves anything that makes noise. He is growing so fast, and we are trying to enjoy every minute of it.

Other than that, there isn't much new with us... My work schedule is changing... agian. Starting next week I'll be working every Monday and Wednesday and everyother Friday all day (9-6), but I'll have all the other days off!!! So, we'll see how that goes.

Kelson, work, and hunting

Well, I can't believe that Kelson is already 3 months!!! Time goes by so fast!! He is definitely growing. According to Andrea's scale with me holding him... he weighs around 13 pounds, and he is around 24.5 inches. He is an amazing sleeper! He usually sleeps between 9 and 11 hours YAY!

I have been working Monday thru Friday from 9:00-1:00, well one of the other employees quit, so I have to work some afternoons now :( Starting next week I'll be working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and some Fridays from 2-6. Hopefully we'll get busier fast, so they will hire some one else to work afternoons.

Trevor went hunting a few weeks ago... he was gone lots, but he came home with an Elk to be cut. So last Saturday we (I honestly didn't help much) cut it up. I guess we will have plenty to eat this year. This coming Saturday is the start of the deer hunt, so I guess Trevor will be entertained for 9 days!

Silly Boy

Kelson is such a funny little boy. He has decided to be a pouter!!! He pouts for no reason at all, but it is the cutest thing!! He was pouting then smiling all within about 2 minutes. Check out these pictures.

Well, I hate to announce to the world that I had surgery, but I wanted to announce to the world how nice my mom is for taking care of me and Kelson while I'm recovering. Thanks mom, you're great! I'm so glad you were able to come down and spend time with us and cater to my every whem. HAHA Well, Thanks :)

Anyway... I can't just say that I had surgery and leave it at that or everyone will wonder. So... I have had a hernia for quite some time, and it started bothering me after delivering a baby. I guess all that pushing could make it worse. So, I decided I should get it fixed before my good insurance ends... so... I went to the doctor on Friday the 18th, and had surgery on Tuesday the 22nd. Now I'm just being a couch potato. Yes, I'm doing pretty good, just taking my time recovering.

2 Months already!

WOW!! Kelson is already 2 months and 1 week!!! I can't believe how fast the time goes. And how much he has changed in just 2 months! Check it out...

Labor Day Weekend

Well, after lots and lots of trying... Trevor finally convinced me to take Kelson camping over Labor day. So, on Friday the 4th we (Trevor, me, Kelson, Jeff, Christy, Miste, Brett, Clint and Bailey) went camping. We went to grandpa Gardner's Ranch in Nevada... Blumass.

Trevor and I drove up before everyone else, and when we got there we had to hurry to put the tent up and set up the wood burning stove. We got most of our stuff set up before dark. Of course I was nervous about how Kelson would sleep... He slept all night!

So on Saturday, we decided to pick some pine nuts... WOW!!! What a CHORE!!! Trevor was climbing tree's and shaking the pine cones out... then me, Miste, Brett, and Jeff were picking them up off the ground. We picked for a long time. I thought this was a funny picture. We filled the bed of Trevor's truck full of pine cones! We were all covered in pine gum!!! Gross!!! When we got back to camp Trevor set up his wonderful invention... a shower water heater. We pumped water from the crick into a barrel and then pumped the water from the barrel through the water heater and into the shower tent. We all got to take a nice warm shower! Yep... we camp in style... Wood burning stove in the tent, and a warm shower. And Kelson slept all night again.

Sunday, Clint and Bailey went home after breakfast. Trevor and Jeff went to go look for their grey mule has been out there for months. We just hung around camp. After they came back, Trevor and I went on a four wheeler ride. And Jeff, Christy, Miste, Brett, and Kelson went for a ride in the truck. That night Kelson woke up once, but I really can't complain about that.

Monday we ate breakfast, and packed up camp to head home. Just outside of Panaca the truck started acting weird. We were leaking oil the rest the way home. Trevor's truck isn't very white anymore. But we made it home, and now Trevor doesn't have a truck to drive.

Besides the truck issues we had such a fun time. I'm glad they talked me into going. Kelson's first camping trip was a success!

My handsome little man

Kelson was given a name and a blessing on Aug. 30th. I kept asking Trevor if he was nervous and he said... "I'm more nervous when I have to teach Sunday School. I just have to listen to the spirit to give him a blessing." And he did such a great job.
