Surprise

Well... It seems like I don't really need to say much. We have known for quite a while. We went to our very first doctor appointment on Dec. 18, and found that our home pregnancy tests (yep tests. I didn't believe the 1st one, I took 3) were true! We weren't able to get a due date at that point. The doctor thought we were about 6 or 7 weeks. So, we scheduled our next appointment for an ultra-sound on Jan. 29. We did the ultra-sound and to our suprise we were further along than expected! We found out we were 14 weeks and 1 day. We got to hear the hearbeat, and it was amazing. I was excited before, but after seeing the little baby and hearing it's heart beat it seems more real. I'm starting to love it already!!!Trevor, and I are both excited, but I think I'm a little more afraid than he is. We haven't decided yet if we will find out the sex of the baby. Trevor doesn't want to, but I do! If we find out it will be around week 22. So... We'll try to keep ya posted!

FINALLY POSTING

WOW!! Time has gone by so fast. I keep thinking I'll have time to post some pictures and update, but I just haven't had much time. So here is the past few weeks all condensed!
New Years... Well, we didn't do anything for new years eve! We spent the evening at our house just the 2 of us. I don't remember if we even stayed up until midnight or not. We're really party animals!
Christmas... Our first Christmas as Mr and Mrs Gardner, was fabulous. We got up Christmas morning and opened our presents from each other... of course you already know that I got furniture. After that we went to Trevor's family house for Christmas breakfast. We hung out there for most of the morning. Unfortunately I had to work from 1130-430 on Christmas, so I headed for work and Trevor spent the afternoon with his family. After I got home we had dinner with his family and we visited my grandparents and my sisters. It was a good Christmas.
Weekend befor Christmas... All my family came down the weekend before Christmas and we got to spend some time together it was lots of fun. We exchanged gifts and had a big Christmas dinner. It was really great!

Our First Home

I think of my family as much much more than those definitions!
My family is: accepting, loving, kind, funny, respectful, honest, faithful, thoughtful, happy, and the kind of people I want to be like!!
I'm so grateful for my sibblings, and everything they do for me and for my benifit! I look up to you always. Thank you for always being there when I need a friend! I love you so much!
I'm also grateful for all of my inlaws, whom I also think of as my family! They have accepted me and (I hope) grown to love me. I'm grateful for each of you. I love you guys!

I'm even more grateful for my mother! She means the world to me. I know I can go to her for anything. Thank you for being the greatest mom! I love you!
And last, but NOT least... I'm so so thankful for trevor! He is the best husband a girl could ask for! He is loving, funny, honest, faithful, happy, etc,... And I love him more than anything else in this world!

A toothache, painting, and a hair cut

So, on the evening of the 9th (I think) Trevor's tooth started hurting him so bad. I've never seen him in so much pain. Me being a Pharmacy Tech was trying to think of what could help subside the pain... We tried a few different things, and it seemed like nothing worked!! So, late into the night we found that if Trevor sucked on an ice cube the pain would go away. After going through over two trays of ice, Trevor finally fell asleep around 5:00A.M. He woke up and didn't have much pain, so he stayed home from work to sleep. Later that afternoon we were able to get him into the new Dentist in Enterprise, and luckily he was able to help Trevor out.

Ever since we moved into our house, I've wanted to paint one of the walls in the living room red. I tried to paint the wall, while Trevor was getting his sleep on Monday morning. Tried being the key word. Unfortunately, red is a very hard color to paint. Not only is it hard to make it look good, I ran out of paint before I finished the wall!! When Trevor woke up in the afternoon, we went to Brackens and bought more paint. Then... I made him help me fix the paint job. He did such a good job fixing my paint mess!! He is the BEST ever! On Monday of this week, I was fortunate enough to have Keith come paint our ceilings white. All we have left in the painting department is the doors and the trim!! I'm so excited for it to be all finished. Then all post pictures of our cute little house.

Last Thursday, I had an appointment to get my hair cut... And I got it cut!!! My hair is now around 10 inches shorter!!! Emilee did such a great job. Thanks EM! You are great! I know I know... Post Pictures... Well, I don't have pictures to post yet! My goal is to post pictures next time I update the blog!

2 Week Recap

First things first... I DID get a deer on the last evening of the deer hunt!! When Trevor came home from work we went out for the final hunt... Trevor saw it first, he looked through the scope to see if it had horns. It was a spike, so he told me to shoot it. We were sitting in the truck, and I was getting ready to shoot it... It was so small, I actually asked Trevor if it was worth it. He said... "If you want to shoot a deer this year, you better take your shot." Luckily the deer was still standing there when I finished the debate. I took a shot... and the deer went down! Of course I made Trevor gut it. Even though it was just a small spike, I was proud of my deer. It is after all my very first one! I might post a picture if I ever get it off of Miste's camera!

This last weekend we went up to Salt Lake. It was a short but good trip. We went up on Halloween and stayed til Sunday. On Saturday, Trevor and I had our first time Cabela's experience. It was pretty fun to see all the animals they have in there. They have a lot of really great stuff, but unfortunately you have to be rich to shop there!! Later that evening Andrea, Rebs, Bradley, Julie, and the two of us got together. We ate homemade french fries and corn dogs, frosted Halloween sugar cookies, and watched the football games. It was a fattening good time!
Sunday, Brandon blessed little Paisley. So we all went up to Layton for that. After church we ate dinner and celebrated McCoy's 2nd birthday. We had a really good time up there!

Now we are back to everyday life!!
