I was hardly able to sleep... I woke up extra early and went over to Emilee's house so she could do my hair. We talked, laughed, and wondered about what was coming. After I left Emilee's I went home to put on my make-up. I could hardly eat, but I knew I needed to eat something. After I was finally ready I loaded up the car. Soon me and Trevor were on our way. We talked and laughed on our ride. When we arrived we left each others side to go to our dressing rooms and change for the ceremony. We got all ready- got together again and waited for everyone to be seated. We talked with Grandpa Barlow, Jeff, Christy, and my mom while we waited. They left the room and soon so did we. We were going to change our lives forever!! The room was beautiful and filled with all our closest family and friends. My Grandpa Barlow performed the ceremony and it was great! Of course I cried... It was the happiest moment in my life! I just married my very best friend!
3 years ago today was such a beautiful day, when I married the love of my life! I love even more today and I wouldn't trade the last 3 years for anything. I love you Trevor! Thank you for being in my life forever.

"Sounds like life to me"
Kelson has been so cranky lately... he got a fever over last weekend and when his fever dropped he ended up with a cold. So, I decided yesterday that I better take him to the doctor. I am so glad that I did. He has double ear infections (isn't ironic he got ear infections the month I paid off his tubes) and a throat infection. Poor little guy- no wonder he has been crying more than usual.
Kelson is getting so big/grown up and he is very naughty, but he is so much fun and brings so much joy into our home. He is starting to talk SO much. His vocabulary has grown tons in the last month or so. One of my favorite things that he has said "I na naughney (naughty)!"
I have been working a little more than usual lately, which is kinda nice for the money. Having a baby with crappy insurance is really expensive. I am almost to my 3rd and final trimester! I have been feeling pretty good. I unfortunately catch every cold that goes around. I have had some back and hip pain, but nothing I can't handle. I know all the pain and sickness is going to be well worth it! I'm getting really excited to know if a boy or girl will be joining the family. We can't agree on boy names, but if we have a girl her name will be Aubrey Ann or Roxie Lyn. The baby has been moving so much lately- it is so fun.
I got released from YW a few weeks ago, it was a small relief, but I am also very sad about it. Still no calling- but I'm not going to lie... it's kinda nice just having a break.
Things have pretty much been the same for Trevor, just working lots and playing/hunting when he gets a chance. He also got released from his calling (gospel essentials teacher) about a month and a half ago. He still doesn't have a calling either, although, he has become a substitute teacher for youth Sunday school classes.
As for the house situation... shortly after my last post- the house we have been looking at came back on the market as a foreclosure. We wrote up an offer on Mar. 14. We heard back from the bank on Mar. 22nd. They had counter-offered... higher than we hoped, but if we didn't accept it then we would be part of a multi-offer. Multi-offer meaning they take 3 offers and review them and decide which is the highest/best offer. So, as of now we accepted the offer! If before closing on the house we change our mind for some reason we will walk away. I don't imagine that happening. Because we accepted the counter-offer higher than we wanted to pay we probably won't be able to do all the fix-ups right away, but it was such a good deal we didn't want to pass it up. So now we are on the search for a great loan and interest rate, deep cleaning our house, and trying to find possible renters for our house.

The next 100 days...
180 days down, and only 100 days to go...
Most days I feel like this is the longest pregnancy in history... Every once in awhile I think about all the things I need/should do before the baby gets here, and I feel like I'm running out of time.
I mostly think about the house situation. I want something bigger, but not just anything bigger... I want 1 house in particular that we have been hoping to get since last June. We made an offer on this house when it was a short sale, and before they did anything with our offer the listing expired. The house went to the public auction- got postponed a few times and finally was sold back to the lender. Now this house that we still want is in "no-mans land" The lender has to assign an agent before the house can be put on the market or be able to accept offers. We have a Realtor contacting the lender weekly, but still no date available for offer. With this being the house situation I keep wondering how or where we are going to fit another baby and baby necessities in our tiny home. I really need to reorganize and buy lots of waterproof storage containers. So, my goals for before baby #2 gets here are: clean-out fabric scraps (I'm doing this by making scrap quilts... which is actually a really fun project), organize all the sewing and wood crafting things I own, deep clean Kelson's room and make room for all the necessities a new baby will need, deep clean my bedroom so the cradle/bassinet will fit in there, reorganize the laundry closet, reorganize the linen closet, buy a few more clothes for if it's a girl, and last but NOT least- come up with boy names that we actually both like. When I think about this list along with all the daily activities and some working days I feel like I'm running out of time.

just called to talk...
This was awhile ago, but I thought it was cute and wanted to share it. Kelson called my sister Rebekah and talked to her for around 7 minutes. I had to bribe him with candy to get the phone back.
Terrible two at 19 months!!!
Quite often people ask how my little Kelson is doing and my response is usually something like "He is doing good, he's NAUGHTY though." Of course that leads to more questions... "Why is he naughty?" or "What does he do that is naughty?" Then I have to tell people I have pregnesia and can't remember. So, while I'm thinking about it I'm going to document some of the things Kelson has done that is naughty.
KELSON BEING NAUGHTY:
~ Played in the ashes at grandma's when no one was watching.
~ Colored with purple crayola marker on grandma's tile, wall, outlet cover, and carpet.
~ Colored with crayons on about 3 different walls at home.
~ Occasionally takes the stopper out of the bathroom sink and puts items down it.
~ I say don't hit, so he hits even harder.
~ Has repeated his Uncle Brett saying "dumb idiot"
~ I say come here, bring me a diaper, lets go, throw this away, and other phrases... and he says "NO"
~ He hates to sit in the shopping cart for more than about 5 minutes, but won't hold my hand to walk... he goes where ever he wants to go. (Has thrown a very large fit in public because of this.)
~ Climbs on anything and everything that he knows he shouldn't
Even though he has done all of these things, and continues to do some of them I can't help but love him! I have my hands full for sure, but wouldn't trade it for anything.
Love you little guy!

a little update...
The last 3 weeks have been different than I'm used to. Trevor has been working out of town. He leaves on Sunday evening and comes home on Thursday or Friday. I have spent a lot of time at my in laws house, and doing other random things. Just some of the things I've been up to:
I made some wood crafts with my sister Andrea, sister-in-law Jamie, and cousin Mandi. (Thanks Tammy for the ideas)
I had an ultra-sound at 21 1/2 weeks- did NOT find out the gender.
I have worked a few shifts at the hospital.
Made 2 baby quilts and started making a car seat cover.
Took Kelson to his 18 month well-baby check.
He is growing too fast. He is now 25 pounds (28-30%) and about average in height and head circumference.
Played with Kelson lots.
I have been lazy too.
I have noticed this pregnancy I am much more tired and don't ever want to do anything.

Just journaling....
Yesterday as I was driving to work, I kept feeling the baby move. It makes me so happy every time he/she moves. It is a reassurance that he/she is still living inside of me. I love being pregnant. It is such a miracle. After Kelson was born I remember feeling a little sad that I couldn't feel him move, or see him move just looking at my belly. I'm not quite half way, and I'm going to embrace this pregnancy. I want to enjoy movement while I can, not later when I'm up at 2:30 am feeding the baby... so glad he/she is in my arms, but sad that I can't feel he/she move inside me. Some times it is easy not to be happy while being pregnant. I'm tired all the time, and it seems like no matter how long I sleep it isn't enough. I have achy joints and can't sleep comfortably, nothing tastes quite the same (some is good and some is very very bad). I just want to enjoy the little miracle growing inside of me and not complain so much, because I know that for a few weeks after the baby is born I'm going to miss this.
I'm kind of getting tired of saying he/she, but it seems worth the wait. It is like getting a birthday present months before your birthday and opening it. Then on your birthday you feel a little sad you have nothing to open. I'm excited to find out, but more excited about finding out in the delivery room! I do feel bad sometimes... when I call the baby an it. A part of me thinks it is a girl, I have felt a little different (which doesn't really mean anything) and i just have that "feeling." After we got the first ultra sound of Kelson when I was only 14 weeks pregnant I thought for sure it was a boy. Then after finding out at 22 weeks I wasn't surprised at all. So, maybe my feelings are right, but maybe they are wrong... Either way I am just hoping the baby is healthy and all goes well the rest of this pregnancy. I get to have my 2nd (and possibly my last this pregnancy) ultra sound on Feb. 10th. And I'm going to be strong and NOT find out the gender.
On a totally different subject... I just wanted to write down how great my in-laws are! They do so so so much for me and our family. Whenever Trevor works out of town I don't even have time to get bored cause I'm always entertained at their house and I don't ever feel like I'm not welcome. They are all so great with Kelson too. He is lucky to have so many great aunts, uncles, cousins (on the Barlow side), grandmas, and grandpa. I feel so blessed and lucky to be part of such great families!
